Athens City Pool
Note: There has been a change in policy for splash pass punch cards. These cards no longer expire and can be used for future seasons.
The Athens City Pool features a zero depth entry leisure pool, lap lane pool, a 12-foot diving well with 2 diving boards, a splash pad, tot pool, and 2 slides that are 24 feet high.
Other amenities include a party room available for rentals, lockers, family restrooms, and a concession stand.
We provide a variety of aquatic opportunities and safe water practices in all areas of the facility. We hope that you have an exciting and safe experience with us this summer while having fun and making memories!

Due to a decline in staff availability due to school/college being back in session below are the reduced pool hours for the remainder of the season.
The following will be the schedule for the rest of the pool season.
August 20th – Whole Pool open 12pm-6pm
August 21st – Whole Pool open 4pm-8pm (no morning lap swim, lap lanes will be available during open swim time)
August 22nd – Pool open 4pm-8pm (Only Leisure pool, splash pad, tot pool and slides will be open; No lap swim)
August 23rd – Whole Pool open 4p-8pm (No morning or evening lap swim)
August 24th – Pool open 4pm-8pm for Lap swim only, no open swim time (Splash pad will be free 10am-8pm)
August 25th – Pool open 4pm-8pm (Only Splash pad, tot pool, slides, and Lap pool/Dive well will be open; no morning lap swim)
August 26th – Pool open 12pm-6pm (Only Leisure pool, Lap pool, slides, and splash pad will be open; There will be Lap Swim 10am-12pm)
August 27th – Whole Pool Open 12pm-6pm
August 28th – Pool open 4pm-8pm (Only Leisure pool and Slides open; Lap Swim available 7pm-8pm)
August 29th – Pool open 5pm-7pm for Lap Swim Only, No open swim; Splash pad will be free 10am-7pm
August 30th – Pool open 5pm-7pm for Lap Swim Only, No open swim; Splash pad will be free 10am-7pm
August 31st – Pool open 5pm-7pm for Lap Swim Only, No open swim; Splash pad will be free 10am-7pm
September 1st – Pool open 4pm-8pm (Only Lap pool/Dive Well will be open)
September 2nd – Whole Pool Open 12-6pm (no morning or evening lap swim)
September 3rd – Whole Pool Open 12-6pm (no morning or evening lap swim)
September 4th – Whole Pool Open 12-6pm (no morning or evening lap swim)
Splash Pad will be open for free from 10am-4pm Monday-Friday and 10-12pm Saturdays

Monday - Thursday 10:00am - 12:00pm* Lanes may be limited from 11:00am-12:00pm
Monday-Saturday 7:00pm - 8:00pm* except during Session 4 Swim lessons which take place Monday - Thursday & occasional Fridays 8/7-8/17

The Pool is scheduled to open May 27th and the season will run through Labor Day, September 4th.

*To be eligible for the resident rate you must live with the City of Athens city limits or pay City of Athens income. Proof of residency or employment within the city limits is required to receive discount.
**If you are eligible for Silver Sneakers you can receive a free membership to the Athens City Pool. You will need to provide your Silver Sneakers number or card. You will then be given a pool membership number to use for entry throughout the season.
***A household membership includes up to 6 members living in the same household. An additional charge of $15 applied for each member after the first 6. Max of 9 members per household membership.

*Punch cards do not expire and may be used multiple seasons. They may also be transferred or shared with others. The punch card is the responsibility of the holder and must be present each visit. Refunds will not be given for lost or stolen cards, or any leftover balance on a card at the end of the season.
